2021 will be a very different year than 2020, and we are excited about the possibilities.

The election is over, but we don’t yet know the results in the presidential race (thanks, 2020). Uncertainty over the outcome still remains. What should we do? We should remember that God is in control!

Finding bright spots to celebrate

Birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries – these happy occasions remind us that God is good, and life goes on, even if masks and social distancing change these celebrations just a bit.

As followers of Jesus, how should we respond?

We are living through difficult times right now, across America and right here in Fargo. Our hearts break for the family of George Floyd and we pray that God will bring them a measure of comfort in the midst of all this. This has focused our attention once again on the unequal treatment that some people in our country experience simply because of the color of their skin.  As followers of Jesus, how should we respond?

They will know we are Christians by our love

It looks like the fight against Coronavirus will continue at least through the end of April. Is it frustrating to have to stay at home? Yes, it sure is. Nevertheless, it’s a comfort to know that our collective sacrifice is making a difference. Can you imagine how many lives might have been lost here in the F-M area if we hadn’t started practicing social distancing when we did?
