How was your Thanksgiving holiday?  Ours was very different than usual, since we stayed put and visited with family via Zoom.  Obviously, we really wanted to be with our family, but with Covid spiking, we thought it would be best to stay home, especially to protect my elderly parents.  But good news is around the corner!

Vaccines are going through the approval process right now, and there are hopes that within a few months many of the most vulnerable people will be protected by vaccinations. Once we get to that point, we can look back at 2020 and know that the hardships and sacrifices we made this year were worth it.  Even now, we are not out of danger, but hope is in sight!

Here at Life 97.9, we are also looking ahead to 2021 with the hope that we can get back to doing some the events and concerts that we love bringing to you.  We are planning to move full speed ahead into some exciting ministry opportunities!  But we need your help.

As a listener-supported ministry, we rely on you to provide the necessary financial resources to stay on the air.  Our annual Winter Share fundraiser is coming up next week, a key component of our year-end giving campaign.  We need to finish the calendar year strong, so my request is that you consider what God would have you contribute.

It takes all of us to keep this ministry going! You can make your contribution here:

2021 will be a very different year than 2020, and we are excited about the possibilities.  Join with us as we look forward with hope to the New Year!  Stay safe, and have a very Merry Christmas!

Yours in Christ,

Doug Smith
